This Thanksgiving history coloring page shows what the landing of the Pilgrims might have looked like. The man in
the picture with the sword would represent Myles Standish, and the other man would be William Bradford.

Thanksgiving Day, or Thanksgiving Holiday is presently celebrated on the fourth Thursday in November, has been an annual tradition in the
United States since 1863. It did not become a federal holiday until 1941. Thanksgiving was historically a religious observation
to give thanks to God, but it is now considered a secular holiday as well.
Today the landing of the pilgrims is part of the tradition of American celebration of Thanksgiving, and celebrates the freedom Americans
have to pratice the religion of their own choice..
