    Easter (Bible) Coloring Pages

Easter Celebrates the Christian belief in the resurrection of Jesus. For Christians, Easter is a day of religious services and the gathering of family. Many Americans follow old traditions of coloring hard-boiled eggs and giving children baskets of candy. On the next day, Easter Monday, the President of the United States holds an annual Easter egg roll on the White House lawn for young children. The holiday is also often celebrated as a nonsectarian spring holiday.

In the United States, Easter is not an official "Federal holiday" and is not generally observed by most businesses as it must always fall on a Sunday, therefore the specific date changes each year. However, many financial markets and some other businesses close on the Friday prior, Good Friday (which may be state holiday in many states).
